2. An organization that excludes persons from membership on the basis of criteria relating to their race, sex (including gender identity/expression), color, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, military status, or sexual orientation is considered to be in conflict with university policy and is not permitted to function at the university. However, it is understood that some organizations may be created for the purpose of deepening the religious faith of students within the context of a denominational or interdenominational grouping or for the purpose of perpetuating a national cultural tradition. These purposes are consistent with university policy, and, when they are clearly stated in the constitution or by-laws of a student organization, the organization may register through customary procedures.Download file "Wright State University 2008-2009 Student Handbook"
